Computerized Tomography is a form of medical imaging that combines xray with multiple slice detectors. The system produces detailed cross-sectional and 3D images.

When making an appointment, please advise the booking receptionist if any of the following apply to you:

  • Previous allergic reaction to CT
  • Asthma
  • Poor renal function
  • Diabetes
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Payment

Please note that a Medicare rebate and a health fund benefit may apply for these examinations. If there as a gap payment, which is the patient’s responsibility, you will be informed of all out of pocket costs at the time of appointment booking.


Results

CT images and reports will be sent electronically to the referring GP or specialist, you will need to return to your doctor to discuss the results.
