Interventional pain management is a subspecialty of interventional radiology with the goal to relieve, reduce, or manage chronic and/or acute pain. These procedures are minimally invasive and are specifically designed to treat painful conditions.

How long does it take?

At the time of booking and dependent on modality you will be advised of the time needed.


Please note that a Medicare rebate and a health fund benefit may apply for these examinations. If there as a gap payment, which is the patient’s responsibility, you will be informed of all out of pocket costs at the time of appointment booking.


Your results will be forwarded electronically to your referring doctor and should be available within 24 hours.
